August 27th, 2012: Last first day of high school, FINALLY!

• Woke up to a flurry of morning texts from my niggas, y’all curt. Only slept for 3ish hours but I was surprisingly not that tired.
• Picked up Dani because “Satan’s lair is better in a pair.” lolwut
• I’m sorry but. ALL. DEM. WHITE. HOEZ. I cannot handle. Well at least for the first 10 minutes. Then I got used to it again. Kind of.
• Counselor Office Assistance: Sat in a room with other office aide kids the whole period because all the counselors were too busy to talk to us. This one kool kid kept talking about how he gets f’ed up and how he doesn’t care about senior year. ok kid lol oh well I’m dropping this ASAP whenever I get Health off my 2nd semester schedule for late arrival.
• English AP: Phia’s in this class! Lauver is a hard teacher but she seems nice enough. Pretty cool too.
• Calculus BC AP: Class with Dani and Vanny. Fredrickson is so chill it’s a little scary lol
• Government AP: I’m probably gonna hate this class because I think politics is boring, but I like the teacher already. Plus Phia & some other people I know are in this class.
• Lunch: Sat outside because it’s nice out; not too hot. I sit with Phia and Zoe + other cool kids I met over the summer so it’s really nice :) I ate a lot today too and t’was satisfying for my tummy.
• Music Theory AP: Likos, my other choir director, is the teacher this year! I missed having him for class :’) Learned some interesting things already. Considering dropping this class for early release though… hmm.
• Chorale: Reunited with choir buddy and it feels goood! She was talking about how this is our last first time walking into the choir room and I was like shush gurl don’t get me emotional lol. Feels good to be in choir again especially with a more dedicated/well-selected(?) group of kids. It’s gonna be a good year.
• Chemistry AP: I like Shull, I already know he’s a good teacher because he can keep my attention.

A surprisingly good first day of school :D

August 25th, 2012: Ahh, what an exhausting but productive and happy day!

• First day of scouts; I’m excited for an awesome year! Hopefully haha, well it better be because it’s my last year as a Senior.
• Played Tic-Tac-Tung and Capture the Flag with the Juniors after we were done with the meeting. “Chim ulululu” “We ILLinois” LOL
• First day of TAing; felt so weird to not be in my scout uniform/white LV shirt. ROCKIN’ DAT BLUE TA GANG OR DIE.
• LOL @ riding in the back of Tan’s truck like a bunch of Mexicans.
• Brit and I realized we were unintentionally matching from head to toe: ombre hair, cross necklace, shirt, belt, khakis from ross, white shoes, and red ukuleles. What can I say? #godsisterswag
• I TA class 1D (yes, One Direction) with Brit but our teacher wasn’t there… so we had to control the class by ourselves by letting them play games on the board. Brit was definitely glad I was TAing the same class as her lol Cat and Matthew helped us out too!
• There was a little boy named Brian that was sucking his thumb because he was scared of the thunder and the other kids made fun of him ): so we took him outside and talked to him and in the end he went back in and played the game with the other kids :’)
• I was talking to one of my students at the front of the class and naturally I had to bend down a little bit because she was sitting down, and I heard these kids behind me saying something like, “she has a big butt” HAHAH
• It was hot in our room so I opened the door and this little boy named Keith was like, “if it’s hot, just take off your clothes!!!!” LOL my kids…
• It is SO cute whenever I test them what my name is and they reply adorably, “Chi Vyyy” C: or “TV” for a few LOL
• Church was a handful, these kids be squirming everywhere! We both felt mean whenever we had to shush/get them back in order but all was good. I did baskets and the Eucharist line thingy. Felt weird to be all over the place during mass…
• Brit hitched a ride to my house with me afterwards. Tutu gave us her MCD fries at Hung Dong LOL thank you bby <3
• Had a random but weirdly nice chat with Van later that night lawl
